The Conjuring: Movie

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. We’re two weeks away from the new year! Hope everyone is excited. This is the first time in a long time that I’m posting twice in a week. So without further a due let us begin the review of this movie “The Conjuring”.

This supernatural, horror film was directed by James Wan and was released in June, 2013.

Duration: 1 hour 52 minutes (112 minutes)

Main Characters:

  • Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga)
  • Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson)
  • Roger Perron (Ron Livingston)
  • Carolyn Perron (Lili Taylor)

After Roger and Carolyn move into their farmhouse with their five daughters; Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy, and April they begin to notice strange things occurring around the house. Sort of supernatural and ghostly and when they have had enough they decide to call in the exorcists Lorraine and Ed Warren to help them.

Great horror movies. Plenty of jump scares. Super fun to watch with friends. There is  part 2 that I haven’t really seen. I’m not that into horror movies but this one was really good. Story was nice, concept was nice, logic was poor. Could’ve done a lot more with the plot honestly. I guess you can watch it once because there’s no real point to see a horror movie twice. Overall a good film.

I would give this move 3.5/5 stars.
