Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. Wow, the amount of work this week has been insane so far. The worst part is that it isn’t even over yet. Tuition till like 10 at night, doing homework till like 2! UGH!! Well, at least I get 1 hour a day to write my blog and see some anime! So let’s begin!
So, everyone has already hyped up this anime for me and now I have certain expectations to be kept else I’m probably going to write another negative review. But, based off the first episode, let me say that the anime definitely did no disappoint me!
Starting off in the past, the anime provides a good back story with quite enough information to start off with. Considering the anime was made in 2014, the animation initially felt slightly off at first but it got better as the anime progressed. We are also introduced to our main character (in present times) as a bar owner.
Going on, the plot of the story and the anime develops and we are introduced to two more characters, a girl (really cute) and a talking pig. Cool and everything but I guess the talking pig was a bit much (opinions might change over time). We are also given more of a back story into our Seven Deadly Sins and who they are Appreciable and a really good way to start off the anime.
The anime further continues to provide us with a fight scene and a HUGE secret that really was an eye-opener the second I read the line. I loved the way they came at us with that Meliodas thing. I was literally at awe for a few seconds after seeing it. Completely unexpected and highly appreciated. LOVED IT! The fight scene, yet one sided, still was a good way to show that the anime has more in store for us in the future. I really do hope that this anime provides quality over quantity!
Overall this anime has really met the expectations as a first impression and I really do hope that the anime only gets better. I am looking forward to some great fight scenes and some really over powered, cool attitude characters. Some great surprise, characters and animation. Really look forward to more!
