The story of Sandy Wexler, an agent for show business, falls in love with one of his clients, Courtney Clarke. Now, he must juggle his mind between his lover and his other clients without ruining their opportunities as well.
I must say, this movie has some of the most hate I have ever seen for an Adam Sandler movie. I get it, it wasn’t his best, but has he really sent the bench mark so high that even a movie like this was given such a low rating. Being a huge Adam Sandler fan myself, I found myself watching this movie in search for a good laugh. And yes, a good laugh is what I got. Ok, maybe not the funniest movie and I agree that it is not the best plot either but Sandler still did a great job in his role and the movie had some really funny scenes as well. The movie seemed really lost for the most part but caught up a bit towards the end. Even 75% into the movie I was still asking myself, “Where is this movie going?” But that’s another aspect I like about Sandler movies. They are very random! I didn’t like the ending much when he suddenly turns all honest. It kind of ruins his character and makes it kind of boring as well. The other clients of his were just oh so funny. Of course we can’t forget the iconic trio of Kevin, Sandler and Rob Schnieder again in another film. The movie had some really funny scenes but a really weak plot line. I actually didn’t know this movie had just come out last year. I heard that this was also partially based off of a true story. Yes, I would still recommend to watch this movie but only if you want to sit down and pass some fun, entertaining time. Overall decent.
I would give this movie 2.5/5 stars.
