Hunter x Hunter (Ep. 76-125): Anime: “The best action I’ve seen.”

Hey guys, how’s it going? Rahul here coming in with a brand new blog. I hope you all have had a great week. So, let’s begin.

Story:

This arc is about Chimera Ants. After Greed Island has been completed, Gon and Killua meet someone very close to Ging whose name is Kite. Upon discovery of the evils of the Chimera Ants we see some epic battles between the hunter association and the elites of the group of Chimera Ants.

Review:

Words can not describe these episodes of this anime. I will say that the first 74 episodes was insanely entertaining but these 50 levels took this anime to a whole other level.

The arc begins with a ton of information about the Chimera ants. One thing about this anime you have to really give credit to is the in depth of information that each aspect of the anime holds. This was quite evident from the Nen explanation which is so detailed and well thought out that you can’t help but be left in awe every time you think of a wonderfully made anime. The explanation of the Chimera ants and their living was also quite in depth and just makes it so good for an audience who wants to be engrossed into an anime.

Coming to the action scenes, the fights between the hunter association and the Chimera ants blew my mind. The rate at which Gon and Killua are developing is phenomenal and watching everyone showcase their ultimate power while sacrificing their life is what makes anime so special. These scenes made me watch 50 episodes in a span of 3-4 days mainly because of how it feels that the creators were devoted to making a whole anime with no loopholes possible.

Another point I really hope to exemplify is the anime’s suspense factor. Every episode ends with me going “WHAT? ALREADY OVER? NO WAY!”. I was supposed to review this anime at the 100 episode mark but the suspense for the Pitou vs Gon fight got me so hyped that I could not hold back to watch more.

The background music of the anime makes every scene way more interesting and captivating. I can not wait to watch more and I will be truly sad to finish this anime. A must watch. Overall fantastic.

Rating:

I would give these episodes of the anime 4.5/5 stars.

Agreed but i hated how characters like Hisoka kurapika Nd leorio r literally nvr shown. Like I was madly in luv wid hisokas characterisation (I mean cmon he was hawwwt as shit) Nd I expected the story to be more about him Nd not ants(fights were epic but ANTS? Galeez!) It’s weird how they made it look like the entire anime revolved around hisoka being d villain Nd then he’s just out of the picture. But yeah it’s a solid 4.5

I totally agree with you. The anime was not able to focus itself on just a few villians which just didn’t allow you connect with them on an emotional level. Although the fight scenes with everyone were fantastic the anime did lack that connection between every single character by quickly disposing of them and moving on.
